That's a crazy stat. Does it quantify how fast and elusive this Bruins team is, or just how bad ASU (or Pac for that matter) tackles?

I wouldn't know how to look up a stat like this and see when something similar has happened in a game before.

UCLA got manhandled by the defense of the University of Virginia.

They are weak and Oregon is going to literally stomp their arse into the ground. And I hate Oregeron n.

UCLA was also without their starting C that game and had a true freshman playing the position and trying to make protection calls.

Not saying UCLA is a great team, just saying there is a reason their OLine struggled in the beginning of the season. They looked much better last night.

ASU starts like 9 freshman on defense - unsure why anyone thought theyd be able to stop anyone

Very flat defense the 2nd half, and the refs went in dry on ASU. UCLA might be a decent team but don't take this games stats as a measuring stick.

UCLA just beat a team with 9 freshmen defenders, a backup QB, and the refs turning a blind eye to any fouls against ASU.

I guarantee they're not going to make it to the Final Four. In all honesty, ASU should probably be in the 30's this year. We're way too young on defense, and we have to depend on our offense to outscore the opponent from the get go. Hopefully our defense gels quickly before season's end. Sigh. I'm scared for our team against Stanford and Notre Dame.

It could have been just one of those games where a good young team plays like a good YOUNG team. ASU has a lot of talent and is setting themselves up for the future well, but teams with a lot of freshmen getting playing time will have games like this from time to time.
