I'm tired of trying to figure these guys out. So from now on I will just drink large quantities of alcohol and hope for the best.

at some point a couple of years ago, I did basically the same thing...just decided that I was tired of worrying about the whole shite and being mad all of the time...now, win or lose, I just enjoy the game for what it is...

I get wrapped up in the games, I'm happy if we win, If we lose, the 24 hour rule is in effect, except for trolling the negatigers

All kidding aside, it's true about those of us who sadly experienced the Curley era. It's good in that we have the experience on how to stay Tiger fans in the midst of humiliation and losing. It's also bad though, because at times it feels like, "here we go again".
I wouldn't say these days are that bad by any stretch. But seeing Tiger Stadium half empty sure brings back that memory/feeling. So does losing to Miss State.

although admirable, I'm not sure it will work? At least it didn't for me, I tried it in the 70's, I found that I retained too much "pent up" frustration..
