Non-LSU fans: How do you explain TigerDroppings to people?

I always find this interesting. So many fans of other SEC teams or even OOC teams that LSU played at one point are regular posters here. Do people think you are weird?
I've always said that this is the best message board website out there. I grew up an LSU fan, but that's not really why I post here. I post here because every other board (TexAgs) sucks in comparison.

I don't talk to other people about message boards. It simply doesn't come up.

Pretty sure this is the biggest SEC-centric football/lifestyle board out there. It does suck that we have to hear about the yokel happenings at Wal Marts in some place called Metairie and the like, but there aren't a lot of alternatives.
FWIW I don't really know any LSU fans in real life (at least well), but know a number of people who post here. In describing it to people who don't, I think all of us call it "the LSU board"

My gf gives me so much shite about being on here.
She calls it TigerPoop, and she can't understand why I'm on an LSU message board.
If she knew I met people from on here, she might leave me from laughing at me too much.

This. She also gets pissed at me when she tells me day old news I say, "yeah I knew that" and she gets upset that I don't tell her whats going on in the world.

It's like LSU's online version of the Paul Finebaum Show.
There's a board for each SEC team plus a generic SEC board, a more sports board, a seperate recruiting board, a soccer board, a Saints board, and a Pelicans board.
There's a Movie/TV board that mostly talks about Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, and how much they hate "Girls" and that female character from "The Walking Dead"
There's a political talk board which is basically the contestants of the Jerry Springer Show debating international monetary policy.
There's a music board for WSP vs Phish deathmatches and discussion of all things Drake and Outlaw Country.
There's the Moneyboard for the rich folk.
There's the Fark board for hilarious photoshop gone wrong.
There's a gaming board for Playstation vs X-Box threads and "How to build a gaming PC" threads.
The Food and Drink Board exists for great recipes like "A million and 1 ways to put ketchup on a steak" and "Duck Con fritte Corndogs", plus a Jambalaya Calculator...so that's cool.
And there's the OT which contains random threads along the lines of "WYHI?" and "Has anyone ever had sex with a grapefruit?"

Agreed. I regularly post on the MSB, Soccer Board, Movie/TV Board, SEC Rant, and here.

oh definitely. but complaining about Louisiana people talking/complaining about their state on a board made for Louisiana sports fans is absurd

To be fair I don't think he's complaining in a sense that he expects change. It's just an unavoidable negative of the board. It's like complaining that your hot redhead girlfriend is crazy. You know what you got into, and you know she can't help it, but it still sucks.
