It's no creepier than following anyone else. Back when I used Twitter, I was following a few of the players.

I even got yelled at and blocked by JJ because I quoted his stats to somebody!

by brother follows a few on instagram, but he's 17 so yeah.

I have no problem with it. Of course I'm only 24, so this is coming from a young man's perspective.

Not creepy unless you constantly hit them up with shite like "IM UR BIGGEST FAN PLEASE FOLLOW ME OR RETWEET ME I WOULD DIE".

Following them on twitter is less creepy than keeping track of and following every move of high school freshmen and sophomore football players (recruiting board).

Twitter, by nature, is kind of creepy unless you know the person or they're a news source. But I don't think following an LSU football player is any creepier than following some random celebrity

It's not creepy, just useless. I don't even follow pro players anymore. It's just motivational garbage or knee jerk responses to something that they usually have to take back.

I tried following recruits and players on Twitter last year and it was pretty worthless. Instagram is a little more informative.
