This week was a lot calmer than last week... as long as you actually made a pick. Out of 549 survivors from Week 2, the Thursday deadline claimed 109 victims.
Dead due to not making a pick: 109
That leaves 440 who did pick. Almost everyone survived, only losing 12 this week. The Patriots were the popular pick, as nearly half of survivors chose New England.
Alive: 428
Patriots (vs. OAK): 197
Saints (vs. MIN): 107
Colts (at JAX): 43
Falcons (vs. TB): 30
Bengals (vs. TEN): 20
Cowboys (at STL): 17
Eagles (vs. WAS): 6
Ravens (at CLE): 3
Bears (at NYJ): 2
Chargers (at BUF): 2
Giants (vs. HOU): 1
Although there were only 12 picks that ended up dead, they were still fairly spread out. The Panthers were the most popular among this group with 5.
Dead: 12
Panthers (vs. PIT): 5
Dolphins (vs. KC): 3
49ers (at ARI): 1
Bills (vs. SD): 1
Packers (at DET): 1
Texans (at NYG): 1

Rolling with San Diego over Jax

San Diego always seems to frick people in those games. I am going Indy against Charlie Whitehurst

Still alive and will probably be waving my terrible dishrag this week riding with Pittsburgh against Tampa Bay.

Thinking more and more about taking Baltimore over Carolina...
Carolina has all their RBs hurt and Cam is still not fully healthy.

Hope not. Cincy was always the team that screwed me. Like 3 out of the last 4 years. And I made it through with them last week, so now I'm unstoppable. Waiting to use Indy when they play at home against Jax.

Yikes...that's your best available pick?

That's the pick I'm more than likely making...
I think the longer you wait on the Baltimore pick the more chance you have to be screwed because their divisional games are always a crapshoot.
ETA: I also don't trust San Diego or Indy.
Pittsburgh would be the only other pick I would feel comfortable with
Also AFC North traditionally does well against NFC South opponents, especially when the NFC South opponent is on the road.

Probably going with Pitt this week

Going with the Chargers this week. Hopefully they can keep me alive - if I make it this week, it'll be the farthest I've made it.

took the cowboys this week. thank god they pulled it out so I don't have to worry about them for the rest of the season. Flip flopping between SD and Pitt this week. I worry about Bortles setting the stadium on fire just because. I have no empirical evidence to back that up. And TB is just horrible

No Obviously Pittsburgh, San Diego, and Indy are all much surer picks.
But Carolina is beat up right now. Not to mention Steve Smith is probably gonna want to go crazy against his former team.

Thank you New England for not fricking that up

Think I am going Wash over NYG. I read a stat the other day that said the home team on Thursday night wins over 66% of the time.

Should we start the "Why the hell do we keep trusting SD?" thread now, or wait til they officially eliminate over half of us sunday?
