Jesus people. I could have told you this would be our jersey a when they revealed the unis last year. Thats our 3rd color with the team name instead of city, and our uniform template. Im sorry but if you thought it was going to be something else you are stupid. Plus anyone saying those are "bad" is ridiculous. They might not be earth shattering but they arent bad

Right, it was always going to be more or less the same but in a different color scheme. The question was just Red, Gold, or Mardi Gras, and all indications starting as far back as last year were it would be red. Hopefully they bring back Mardi Gras next year.

The rule is about marketing. You need to conduct surveys and market research to learn that people like red better than gold. We already have all that data since Charlotte went back to the tried and true color scheme.
As for why not release Mardi Gras this year too, most people aren't going to buy 2 overpriced official jerseys at the same time so you're just cannibalizing sales created largely off the buzz of this "launch event". Wait next year for Mardi Gras and have another reason to have another press conference telling shoppers new jerseys are available. The wait periods may be arbitrary but they are based on some logical assumptions.
