Anymore decline or fire Les threads and they should just start banning people. It is like the exodus of fans in the third quarter. You want to know what is really hurting LSU, our fricking fans and their attitudes. Don't believe it, watch the recruiting board for a while.

When you have recruits parents making comments about fans leaving early and all the negativity among a fan base you know we are a problem.

Dan Mullen has been trying to get this win against us for three years now. He is betting his job on it. This team was built to beat us. He is a good coach. They are a senior laden team with arguably the best DL in the SEC, (which means the whole country) a huge offensive line and a quality mobile QB. They are like A&M last year but with a better defense. No one will run on the middle against them with great success. Their weakness is their sub-par secondary. (As you saw in the second half.) A&M will get 600 yards passing easy.

Our QB's could not take advantage of their weakness until it was too late. Yes we try to establish the run to protect our young and not so great QB's, and apparently our porous defense now too. We can not hit intermediate range pass plays and yes they were open all night.

If you didn't think this was going to be a close game, you are delusional. I had it as a loss and changed only because it was at night in tiger stadium. (But hell since everyone leaves at half time what the hell is that worth now)

Les Miles isn't going anywhere, so enough with that bullshite.

This is a very young green team. I still expect them to win 9-10 games, and hopefully beat Bama. If we can hit intermediate passes by then, and defense gets straighten out. Yes we have glaring weakness bit so does everyone else.

Bama: O-line, and secondary. One great receiver, rest average at best.
Auburn: defense, particularly secondary and linebacker. Some depth issues.
Ole Miss: Secondary and which QB shows up. Oline is ok at best. Some depth issues.
Texas A&M. Can score 50 can give up 50. Defense is better still not quality. can be gashed for big plays.
Arkansas: Great running game, defense can be gashed but better than last year. Secondary is still a weakness.
LSU: talented but very young. Oline under performing. Cant throw intermediate passes with one QB. great secondary but defense can be gashed with power running game. Some poor quality Lbers.

Everyone is going to lose at least one if not two SEC games this year just do to match up issues.

Yes they may go 8-4 but they may go 10-2. They are young and unpredictable, so they are likely to win game they shouldn't and lose won they should have one.

What they need and deserve is less criticism, and more fricking support from all of us, including me.

(sorry posted on the wrong board)

They are good, but not great or elite.

What they did was matchup well with our weaknesses/strengths. They are weak in the secondary and we have a pitiful passing game. We tried to run the ball all night, they have an elite DL. They have a solid running game and a very mobile QB and we have a terrible MLB and are thin at DL.

The Aggies will beat them handily IMO. They will completely take MSU's DL out of the game with quick passes out of the spread to exploit their secondary.

The fire Miles threads are foolish, but for him to come out with the I-Formation was completely absurd.

With the front 7 they have, no reason not to come out and try to go 3 wides, and 1 back like we did in the second half against Wisconsin. We need to get Fournette into space, when we are in the I he can't get an inch of space to have the chance to break free.
I hate to criticize, but the offensive game plan was shite. Call it second guessing, but I said prior to the game if we tried the I-Formation bullshite we were going to have a rough go.

It is not the loss, we kept doing the same thing on offense all night. If you try different things and you lose so be it. If MS beats Alabama then you have a point. I have a feeling MS is going to lose at least 3.

This is my damn point;

What they did was matchup well with our weaknesses/strengths. They are weak in the secondary and we have a pitiful passing game. We tried to run the ball all night, they have an elite DL. They have a solid running game and a very mobile QB and we have a terrible MLB and are thin at DL.

They may be 4th in the West before it is all over but they matchup well with us. There used to be a show called NFL Matchup years ago, and if you watched it, you made a lot of money on sports bets, as Jaws would show you every week how certain players and packages matched up and it explained a ton of the surprises each week. I think Vegas or someone made them take it off the air. Same deal here.

I agree with you TutHill. Fans can do as they please, leave the stadium early, endlessly moan on the Rant, but my opinion is a fan should support the players through good and bad times. State is a good team and they beat the crap out of us. Yes it was State, but a better State than we've ever seen. I'm sure the players and coaches are more disappointed than the fans. It will be a shame if the fans don't support the players this season.

I didn't read your post. It isn't that LSU lost, it is how LSU lost that is the issue. Miss. St. is a good team, like a 9-3 good team. They have no business DOMINATING LSU the way they did, that is the issue.

So?? I don't think we're good this season. We were fully exposed Sat night. But does that mean everyone just quits supporting this team?
