How was this board when Lsu got outmuscled by florida in 2012?

If I recall, the national media and lsu fanbase didn't give lsu a chance the next week when #3 South Carolina came rolling into town. Just food for thought.

Defense looked good...offense sucked....it was on the road and against Florida. Not quite the same as getting dominated at home by a team we have dominated for 2 decades.

Yeah. How'd the season end up in 2012? Did Florida even attempt a pass in the second half? You don't think that was MAJOR cause for concern how our run D was humiliated pretty much as bad as it was this Saturday?

This was not the same team that has played us for two decades. Yes, Mississippi St. is on their jerseys, but they have arguably the best dline in the conference and their QB is a Tebow style qb. That combined with them being out for blood was terrible for us. We most certainly had our issues from scheme to players being out of position, but State deserves more credit for winning that game than lsu does for losing it.

I think the 2012 season turned out fine. 10-2 with losses to two BCS bowl teams. We lost the division by twenty yards. I would like it if we could replicate that kind of success this year.

How are the two games even comparable? It was a road game, and our defense allowed 14 points.
