I still believe!

I still believe this can be a special season. I do not think one game makes or breaks a year.

I still think Les Miles is one of the best coaches out there. I am still proud to be a Tiger as is, everything included.

Did Saturday night hurt? Hell yes. Can we win every game against every team every year? No. Sometimes, after you win 14 in a row, well as the saying goes - even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while.

I avoided this board until now because I knew there would be a bunch of people in here bitching about everything they can think of as though sports is life, as though LSU has a birth-right to winning every game and doing so in a perfect fashion.

Here is some advice. Quit looking towards 'bama and pining for a coach who said frick you, quit thinking the girl next door is prettier, and instead enjoy college football season for what it is. If you have to win big, with style points every time around I feel bad for you because that is a sorry lot in life or when you compete in life you compete with far inferior competition to make sure you win.

If you are not losing once in a while you are not getting challenged enough and generally that is because you are not seeking out strong enough competition.
