I haven't been able to fire a shot (while hunting) in 2 years and I finally get to go pew pew some doves this weekend. I sure hope I can find some birdies.

Just joined this lease and taking pops down to check it out and put out some game cams and check the feeders....

Everyone limited Friday morning and afternoon. Saturday and Sunday it slowed down a little but about half the group got their limits most hunts. Jumped a couple teal out of our tank too

What county are you guys in.... Our place is in Live Oak, just west of 37 south of Choke.

Nice. We are just west of you in McMullen county, our place is just SW of Tilden. In the 20 or so years we have been down there, I've never seen Choke Canyon as low as it is now...

I know a childhood friend of mine has 7300 acres just on the north side of the lake, in McMullen, they bought in 1991 and their place is losing friken mesquite due to drought... Unbelievable.

Never seen anyone do that before, they could challenge someone to donate to PETA!

Looks like my streak continues. It's raining cats and dogs here and has been since yesterday afternoon. I'm happy for the rain in this part of the country but damn! It will be another month or two before I can shoot something...

That sucks for your hunt, but
