Werdum is a solid draw in Mexico (he does the Spanish commentary on events that air there), plus it sounds like quite the chore to get a refund.. I like this fight better personally

It sold out long ago. I guess they don't have ticketmaster or anything like it in Mexico so everyone had to wait outside the arena to buy tickets, like you did for concerts in the 80s.

I love watching Cain fight but this is pathetic how he hasn't fought for over a year and he has only fought the same 2 opponents for the last 4 years. I'm happy that I get to see Hunt fight for a belt. Something needs to be done with training because all these injuries are killing the sport.

I'd rather Cormier fight Werdum instead.

Nobody is going to ask for a refund to a UFC event!

The injuries are ridiculous! Almost every champion has been injured for long amounts of time in the last year.

Heavyweight division is fricked because junior dos santos deserves the shot.

He'd win, then get dominated by Cain when we came back.

But we know this can't happen because Daniel will not fight Cain.

and this is what my "he pissed hot" comment revolves around.

I don't think it's out of the realm of possibilities that rather than admitting failed test or elevated levels in their belt holders and money draws, the UFC would claim injury and let the fighters clear their systems out and try to get their levels to a somewhat natural range and use the extra time to hype the fight.

as sketchy as some people think Dana might be, the Fertittas have way too much to lose if this were true.

I would think the last month of training would be tapered. It's not like you can substantially improve your athleticism. I would think strategy and technique would be more emphasized.

I don't think the UFC would do that.
