How many top 20 teams run it?

Or better yet, how many of the top 4 run it?

Question is how many run it with a 1 wide receiver set.

FB (H-back) caught a TD pass yesterday and was used in short yardage situations as a lead blocker.

The problem is that LSU isn't running the I formation well and hasn't for a a few years.

It isn't the formation. It's the play calling out of it. I wish people would STFU about the I. Go look at 2011.

Not only that, but how many fricking NFL teams run out of an I formation?! FB's are almost extinct in football. It is a shitty formation it time to move on from it.

We wish people like you would stfu about the playcalling and execution from the I because it isnt a bad formation. It is a TERRIBLE FORMATION! FB's are only needed for plays inside the 5 yardline. You take away a WR spot when you add a FB.

They were as good as anybody in yards per play and they were real good in the redzone.

2011 was a fricking anomaly. LSU was not good on offense but the defense was all world and they made the offenses life easy with turnovers and field position. We might never have a defense like that again

The I formation can still be effective though

You just can't use it 75% of the time

they were stuffed against good Ds and had to rely on ST/defensive plays to get momentum rolling

has everyone forgotten the bama game and the SECCG until the badge broke UGA?
