On 34 carries

That's a lot of carries.

And they were playing West Virginia who has no semblance of defense whatsoever. Our stud freshman running back only got 7 fricking carries all night.

We have the #1 RB recruit and he gets 7 freaking carries. He is a damn glorified decoy for us right now. I mean seriously, they use him like a one trick speed guy.

Hilliard 12.5 carries
Fournette 9.5 carries
Jennings 8.75 carries
Williams 7.67 carries
Magee 6.5 carries

There is no distinct RB1 or RB1/RB2 combo, and it is stupid as frick. I keep going back to this every week.

It would be fine if we were a pass happy team, but we fricking aren't. It would be fine if we were able to open up big holes, but we fricking can't. The idiotic switching in and out of RBs makes literally no damn sense to me. I see it a lot. A guy gets 5 yards, or a first down, oh let's switch him out, he's really tired. I remember one announcer saying something about it this year maybe Palmer about this isn't youth league or peewee (paraphrasing).

No discernable #1. We could say it's Hilliard because he has 12 more carries than the next RB, but that was literally because of goal line runs and the last couple of series of game one.

Right....it's like if we switch RBs every play the result will be different....I understand different skill sets...but the holes aren't there...period.

fournette would break off a 20 yard run, and then right back to the bench. makes zero sense.
