They are now 1-16 in their last 2 weeks, not counting Ga Southern winning a conference game vs South Alabama. Now the cajuns of Ulala are still playing but they are down 21-3 at Boise State halftime..... Congrats Arkansas State!!

Maybe LSU can draw a Sun Belt team in the New Orleans Bowl.

The belt really missed the Louisana Warhawks this week, but they had a bye

And although Tech isn't a Sun Belt school, they lost to NSU tonight.

This is a VERY shitty year for football in Louisiana.

Ga Southern is going to do some damage in this league.

I thought we would lose to them but the game wasn't as competitive as I was hoping for.

couldn't stop their ground game to save our own lives.

Fun Belt now 1-17 the last two weeks, and now America's Team, The Warhawks are the conference's only team with a winning record

This. They beat Florida last year, almost beat NC State and came roaring back from being down 35-10 against Tech. The Eagles were up 38-35 late in the game but a costly fumble gave the ball back to Georgia Tech which scored the go ahead TD.

A down year for the 'Belters. The conference had been pretty decent the last few years but this does not seem to be their year.

I remember a 5-7 North Texas team winning the SBC and going to the New Orleans bowl about 10 years ago.

What's the current rule for a conference champion with a losing record?

5 of the current 13 Conference USA teams were in the Sunbelt just two years ago. That has a bit to do with the drop-off.

They changed the rule. Conference tie-ins only apply if the teams have at least 6 wins.
