So I have to get back on these injections. Some meds killed my production years ago. We have 3 kids now and are finished so I need back on. Problem is the fricking anxiety that comes with the extra test is insane. Anyone have this problem? I've read the increased estradiol from the injections could be the culprit. Anyonw taking estrogen blockers along with the injections?. That ks for the responses

I have never had any anxiety? Have you had your levels checked since you started?

Maybe just get the estrogen patch and go the other way?

Why do you "need" it? There are a lot of studies coming out that treating low T is worse than having low T.

I've known someone who had a terrible reaction going from the patch to injections.

How can I get a testosterone prescription. I had a blood test two years ago and all my levels were on the low end of normal. They are probably below normal now since I haven't worked out or trained in months and been eating like crap. My pa didn't want to prescribe any to me.

From my research, the first thing you do is get enough sleep. Then test your levels.

Why do you think you need it? It's not a magic bullet. And can cause more problems than it cures. Maybe start eating right and working out again before trying to frick up with your hormone levels.

ETA: ask your doctor if the PA won't do it. There are a couple cash only doctors in BR that will hand out T and HGH scripts.

seems like a lot of these testost drugs are having really bad effects, rather than helping.

i know media and people like to drama effect it, but i've read several articles on it recently.

I agree. After 13 years of medications i wish to take no more... however..The medications i was on for my UC before they removed my colon. screwed all kinds of things up including my TEST levels... Since then its nearly impossible to maintain any muscle mass from the gym workouts, energy for the kids, energy for work. Gained 30 lbs easy. We are going over all my blood work and I have an MRI to check for a tumor on the pituitary gland. I was on it a brief period years ago before having kids and it accelerated and amped up my anxiety levels.. i was just curious if anyone taking HRT had increased levels of estradiol and there was a correlation.

My levels are low but I've found eating right and exercising hard and sleeping 7 hours a night alleviated the symptoms you complain of. Especially energy. Are your levels like zero? They must be at least on the map if you had kids?

Test made me all kinds of nuts. That and the weight gain alone were enough for me to just work with what I have.

One more question. Do you drink?

That won't happen.... no colon = several trips nightly to the bathroom. The small internal pouch works its just small....

As for drinking not much anymore...I've changed diets and all. They put me on. .25 ml every two weeks to start out again.

Well I'm sure your doctors know a little more than me. Good luck man.
