Let's talk about Dak...

Johnny Football was at a whole different level as Dak and Chief shut him down both times...with so much focus on Dak and not coming out of nowhere to surprise us, it will happen once again because of the preparation and game planning because Chief knows what is coming. Dak will see things he has never seen before. Our running game will set up the pass against their average DB's. 34-17 Us.

GOOD Luck with that Freak thing.....DAK will likely be a better player when he leaves Tiger Stadium.

I hope the team plays like they've been disrespected, because they have. It should be a spit in the face to any LSU team to be told that MSU will beat them in DV on a Saturday night. Geaux MF'n Tigahs!!

Dak and JFF are radically different. JFF is all about elusiveness, and Dak is about power. Chief shutdown JFF with finesse. We'll have to beat Dak with assignment football, sure, but also with power. I found it surprising that Chief was able to succeed against State with his Mustang package last year. Maybe it will work again, but it doesn't seem like it should. Can you imagine trying to stop Tebow and Florida with the Mustang?

This is an opportunity for the defense to make a statement. I would be very impressed if they held Dak under 100 rushing. I expect a loaded box with 1 on 1 outside. That's the luxury of having elite corners.
