Got Free Verizon Phones Through Chat

My Verizon contract ended and I called to see what deal they would do to resign. I wanted two Droid MAXX, listed at $49.99 each on the Verizon website. They wouldn't budge from that price.
Started a chat with a Verizon rep on the website and got both phones free and 2 gig of data instead of one gig I currently have.
So, if you're looking to get the best deal from Verizon, seems that chatting is better than actually speaking to a person by phone.
