Can only imagine how upset Sean Payton and the New Orleans Saints must be watching Commissioner's press conference.

I think Goodell fricked us on purpose w scheduling
Posted on 9/19/14 at 9:47 pm to Chad504boy
He is a lying POS and Benson should move for his fricking head now as should the Packers and all the other teams he has screwed.

I think it's best for some owners to let the disaster further explode and swoop in for kill when he's barely moving

@TroyAikman @caplannfl Let's not confuse the people who cheat & abuse with the people who punish them. Sean Payton deserves nothing

@TroyAikman @caplannfl why the saints were told to stop putting bounties on players and they kept doing it
They still believe this

@TroyAikman um Goodell's made some mistakes but targeting opposing players for injury was and is dead wrong
LOL

At least someone with a national platform has the balls to look at all of these mishandlings and sympathize with the victims that were left in the wake of his "Scorched Saints" policy from the Bounty fiasco.
It was wrong. The Saints were wrong to do that. whaaaa whaaaa.
The bottom line is the Saints were scapegoated to fit the profile of offenders of the head trauma hypersensitivity because of the pending law suit from former NFL players. The Saints were the example so the NFL could show in court that they cared (they really could care less) for the safety of the players and were taking the proper steps by slamming the evil Saints offenders and changing the defensive rules to protect players. It was all BS. The Saints were used as cover. All teams "incentivize" their players to take out the other teams best players to help insure a win. This goes on from Pee-Wee to high school to college to the NFL. As a kid, ever hear from your football coach, "If we win, we all get cokes. If we lose, we don't get anything." That is an incentive to do whatever it takes to win. Thats the sport of football.
Goodell is a joke. You think he cares about Domestic Violence? He could care less. He just wants the snowball rolling down the mountain to stop. He would say anything to keep is $40million job. The NFL has had 84 domestic violence arrests over the past 3 years. Do you know what the most severe suspension has been for those 84 arrests? 1 game. Ray Rice got 2. Roger thought he was really laying the wood to Ray by giving him 2 until the tape came out and changed everything. Without the elevator video, Rice would be suiting up this week. If Roger had handled it correctly and really cared, the Ray Rice deal would not gotten out of hand. His negligence and dereliction of duty then created tons of scrutiny to the NFL and its policies. Adrian Peterson simply had the misfortune of being right on the heels of the Rice situation that Goodell created. Otherwise he would still be playing as well. This situation is all about Roger Goodell. He created it. It should cost him his job.
BTW - I know one of the Saints coaches. I told him, "Sean Payton must be laughing his arse off at Goodell right now." The coach laughed and said "Payton and Loomis think its hilarious that he is now reaping what he has sown."
