Paul and McCain are at serious odds with one another. Should make for some fun!

And with it, his last chance to ever win the Republican nomination.

I'm not sure I agree with this. I think a lot of Republicans, like myself, are tired of these wars.

His chance is already very slim. The Republicans will attack him with greater force than the Democrats.

They will then nominate someone retarded.

I think his best chance is to run 3rd party. From the get-go. Organize early.

Will never work. No one will ever be elected as a 3rd party candidate w/ the way the two party system is set up.

It is as close to impossible as can be.

They have to wrap up because Congress is leaving for campaign season.

They got back from summer break after Labor Day and worked almost a WHOLE month!

Poor babies must be exhausted.

And that's a damn shame. The country as a whole has been tricked into thinking that it's really D vs R. It gets to be pretty nauseating during election years.

Joe Manchin acquitted himself well too. Guys like Paul and Manchin are true patriots.

Is that not admirable in you opinion? Or should his decision be based on political expediency, a la Hillary and Jerry in 2002?

I think his best chance is in Hillary wrapping up the Democratic nomination early, and then pull a page out of Thad Cochran's playbook by encouraging Independents and Democrats to vote for him in the Republican primaries.
