The Top Reason to Arrive Early to Work

Lately I've started noticing a lot of our female employees arriving to work early, then sitting in their car to do their make-up.
I understand arriving early to impress the boss, or get some individual work/quiet time, but wouldn't it be easier to just do your make-up at home with a nice big mirror then leave ten minutes later?
Granted, it doesn't affect me, but seems like an odd reason to leave the house early.
My top reason to leave early is to actually get work done before the "work" day gets me distracted.

Its the double standard. They are in just as big of a hurry as you, but they are expected to look better while making less money.

State employee - they have a permanent contract and it's standardized pay based on education/experience.
The way a woman is making less money here is if they have less education or experience. No problems there I must presume?

Fair enough I guess, if what you say is true. Anyways, the point is still valid. You don't have to put on makeup in a hurry before coming into the office.
