I'm guessing 1:30 PM CT, but Washington will take questions from the media on his departure from the Rangers. The truth shall be revealed...maybe

I thought it had been rumored/speculated that he was in trouble for some sort of sexual harassment involving a female Asian reporter?

Maybe he can get the Braves job. He just knocked them out of contention.

I am still holding out for the comeback. I have had this avatar for 3 years and I am too lazy to find something else.

I think Jon the Moron told him he wouldn't be coming back after this season and so Ron told him never mind, I'll quit now.

Remember, the Rangers' brass said it wasn't a cocaine relapse, nor was it a health issue (him or his family). But they said nothing about off-field conflicts with management.

So he cheated on his wife and that made him resign?

It has to be a conflict with Jon Daniels. They probably butted heads over closing down Yu. Probably the straw that broke the camels back.

even though he just said it's cause he cheated on his wife? it's still JD's fault?

Absolutely. It is all Jon Daniel's fault. Ron has to find some relief from dealing with that arse clown and not being able to get his fix.

That "arse clown" rebuilt a franchise from utter shite into a back to back AL champ.

And let his enormous ego make it crumble back to shite.

I'd rather have a competent GM with an ego that any of the bad ones they had before.
