The only hope is if he pleads guilty and the courts have mercy on him since this is his first time.
If not...he's done...october 8th should be the day you know whether or not you should drop him or not

Even if he is allowed to plead guilty, and is forgiven by the courts, I'm not sure the 6 game suspensions will appease the public especially if they started counting since Week 2. I think at the minimum, he gets suspended after October 8th. By the time he comes back... There might not be much season left for the Vikings.
