The wife and I will be renting a house in the bywater and hanging out in NOLA for a week while we do some family related stuff.

Any suggestions on things I should go see music wise? I will be unable to see a show on the 4th, just an FYI as we have a family engagement.

thanks

nothing on my radar personally

I always use Jambase LINK

also check out Maple Leaf and Howlin Wolf website for their calendars as they don't always show up on jambase I don't think.

I don't know how far in advance they set it up, but check the WWOZ livewire. They have pretty much every venue in the city, where it is located, and who is playing and what time. That's really the best bet.

Tuesday nights at the Maple Leaf for Rebirth is a must if you haven't seen them before
