What’s Going To Happen: Mississippi State will show it belongs. The defense will be frustrating and effective, and Prescott will have a few brilliant moments to keep the game alive. By the fourth quarter, though, LSU will keep going with its fastball as it pounds and keeps pounding away well into the second half. MSU will have its chances late, but the Tigers will go on a big late drive to put it away.

Prediction: LSU 31 … Mississippi State 20
Line: LSU -9.5 o/u: 50

Look, I love our Tigers and believe we find a way to win this game, but you act as though the CFN prediction some how eliminates any thoughts to the contrary. I think they still have to play the game.

I don't see them scoring 20 on us w/o a turnover from us deep in our territory.

Even the great 2011 D didn't shut out 2 strait cupcakes! Not comparing them to the 2011 D it was awesome, but I am going to give credit where credit is due! The whole country has been playing cupcakes not putting up these type of numbers! For 10 quarters besides one long run this D has played lights out, look what Wisconsin's QB did the next week went like 21-25 something like that our d is for real'

The Scoreboard will be unreadable until the 4th

Our defense is clearly our strength at this point. I'm still worried about the DTs. This will be a good test and hope we will pass it. Auburn will be the ultimate test. For the defense I'm more worried about the running teams than the passing teams.
