Jennings has proven to be a late game magician and we should see more and more of his talents this season. He has proven mobility and throws well down the field when game is on the line. Mett (just as an example) couldn't get out of his own way w his lead feet but he was tough as nails. Mett had the gifted arm but when protection broke down he was toast every time. Can't recall a great comeback by Mett in his last year of eligibility. Jennings is 5-0 since taking over on 99 yard drive against Ark. and helped engineer the 4th qtr comeback against Wisc. I like our chances as Miles says. I am looking forward to more late game heroics as the season progresses from Jennings. He has that intangible quality. Finally - a QB who can handle the 4th qtr pressure. Fun to watch!

A little early to annoit him a Mettsiah...he has talent, but is not polished or refined enuf to make those comparisons...jury on AJ is still out IMHO.

he throws a better deep ball than mett. needs to work on pocket presence and short passes and he'll be really good for LSU

People don't realize he's a 19 year old true sophomore. I have been pleased with his play and composure. At this point in his career his deep ball has seemed better then Metts, as already stated. He will have his hiccups playing in the best division of the best conference in football, but lets hope they are minor and that he doesn't let them effect him come the next series, something Jarrett Lee struggled with.

Not only is he a 19 year old sophomore he is also younger than Harris, given time I think Jennings will be a pretty good QB for us due to his composure and leadership qualities.
