I want to improve my TE position. Thinking of offering Pitta/Vereen for Gronk/gerhart. He's starting Gerhart and McFadden so I know he has to be frustrated with RB. Good enough offer? Too much? Thoughts?

I know...he's bench fodder, but does Vereen improve his RB enough to give up Gronk? Or should I just ride Pitta and hold Vereen for RB depth?

You can definitely make that offer. I don't think it's too much you still would have Lacy and Ellington at RB1 and RB2. You want to improve at TE so go for it.

I'm going to go against most in this thread. I think you might not be giving up enough with only Pitta and Vereen. Vereen is very valuable in a PPR, but a healthy Gronk playing at the top of his game is one of the best at his position. Does he possibly have a backup TE so that you could make another offer not involving Pitta?

No backup to Gronk...he's strong at WR and weak at RB. The next step up would be Ellington/Pitta...

I mean you could always offer Vereen first and if he takes it I mean hats off to you and if not then you can offer Ellington and it would be an upgrade in the offer. If he's stacked at WR that could potentially make him a lot better. Might as well try to offer. I certainly don't think you are giving up too much since you're trying to get Gronk.
