*LSU 24 - Mississippi St. 23—Though LSU has captured 14 straight in the
series, our long-time SEC sources assert this is the most talented MSU bunch
over that time frame. We concur. So, interested in “taking” with SEC West
hopeful Bulldogs, who’ve covered 5 of their last 6 away from Starkville. It’s a
good bet Bulldogs’ marvelous triple-threat QB Zak Prescott (threw, rushed &
caught a TD vs. South Alabama!) outperforms Tigers’ still-learning soph QB
Anthony Jennings (only 51.9%), who’ll be forced to take on a greater burden, with
his prized frosh RB duo of Leonard Fournette & Darrel Williams reasonably
contained by a veteran, athletic MSU stop unit (2.3 ypc; 11 sacks, 5 ints.)

Lagniappe ... from Winning Points.

They are forgetting that The Chief has been able to contain these types of QBs. But, we should just allow these individuals to believe whatever they wish.

Gold Sheet believes LSU wins 24-23.

Winning Points believes LSU loses.

Both state that Mississippi State will cover the point spread.

Marshall says 24-23

He points out the 28-17 is from another publication.

So our home field advantage is a myth bc teams cover spreads but we still win?

It is becoming very old and tiring to hear these analysts keep riding the "LSU lost so many players to the NFL" wagon. This is a different season with different personnel / packages.
