NFL is the highest level, has the best athletes, and usually pays better and you don't have to deal with NCAA bullshite or bother kissing 18 year olds' asses.

College allows you to be in complete control of the program. You get to pick the players instead of letting a GM run the show. You have complete control over the players unlike NFL coaches having to start a star player regardless of how much of an a-hole he is to you.

Personally, I'd pick college. Just seems like more of your performance is in your control and longevity is there. PLus, who would want to deal with shite head players and have absolutely no recourse because they make more than you or are more important to the organization than you.

For proof, check out this awesome Cutler gif:

NFL. I feel like recruiting and yearly player turnover would be a nightmare.

I'd prefer college. Impact on youth, big man on campus, etc.

NFL

Don't have to kiss high school kids and their parents assess. Don't have to worry about their grades. All the discipline responsibility is on you.

In the NFL most teams take the easy way out and let's the league do the punishment. Plus, the offseason...

NOt really. NFL rookie contracts are only 4 years and you have to seemingly start over a lot because of the salary cap. It's pretty much like college turnover. There's a reason the NFL has so much parity.

If I'm getting paid like Saban, Miles, etc, then college. If I'm getting paid like the avg college head coach, then NFL.

Not really. College is max 4 years, obviously. In the NFL, you lose a lot of your guys to free agency, but you can keep your key players, too. You just have to pay them. College is a completely different beast.

But I was more focusing on how big of a pain in the arse recruiting has to be. At least the GM handles that shite for you at the pro level.

Interesting stat.

By the same token, your GM could be a functional retard. (Jerry Jones)
Bill Parcells has quit before because "if you're gonna cook dinner, you'd at least expect to be able to pick out some of the groceries."

It would suck for you to have a scheme and philosophy and then your GM force you to take VY (Jeff Fisher) or refuse to draft another QB and stick with the same average injury-prone QB. (Sam Bradford)
