I'm thinking of dabbling in the DFS scene. Was wondering if any of y'all had preferences/advice on these two? Are there major differences, or is it basically a Yahoo vs ESPN situation?

Woah, wait... We can't sign up for it?! That's good to know. I almost registered for it the other day. They've been e-mailing me like crazy too.

Arizona is one of the illegal states and they are trying to push some legislation to make it legal.

As of now, LA isnt doing anything to legalize it from what I understand.

I just started trying Fan Duel last week. It looks like I might win a few bucks. I still have Reggie Wayne to play tonight.

I payed $10 for each entry. I used 2 different line ups but I don't know if it is something I want to start doing each week.

if I actually get the money they are showing me on my screen, then sure i'll play again.

but I don't know if someone else will pass me up or not.

Yeah, if they can't monetize it, I doubt it becomes legal anytime soon in La.

Staring 4th place right in the face out of 20 participants with only the top-3 getting paid.

Lineups had to be submitted Thursday night and I got AD in the lineup

Correct...I don't remember the link I followed a few months ago, but there is a group that is trying to make this legal in LA

I never log in on the computer and just leave a tab open on my phone with FanDuel

It's right there when you log in, I guess I'm using their mobile version but couldn't tell you for sure since I've literally never logged into the desktop.

But there are two tabs that you navigate from: My contests, and Enter a contest

Click on My contests and it shows you what place you are in and who your competitors have left to play when you click on their name.

When you win, yes your account gets updated almost immediately. Literally, have never had a problem with it.

I had to go to transaction history which gave me a link to my lineups. I can see my competitors now.

Great.

Hoping Reggie can bring it home but the thing is the pool is huge so there is a good chance I might not win.

right now it is telling me I can get $30 in one and $25 in the other.

I can already see that my big mistake was joining a contest that had a ton of entries. Do you usually only play ones that only have a few?

It's a loophole, they call Fantasy Football for money, gambling. While the casinos reside under a gaming label. Or vice versa, can't remember exactly.
