Citizens for Conservative Leadership tries to trick Landrieu supporters into...

...electioneering on behalf of Cassidy on their facebook page.

Select the obvious choice for someone to be your representative in the Senate - a "DC insider" (not a "life saving doctor" - who is perhaps better suited to saving lives instead of representing my interests to people who work inside D.C.).

Then attempt to "share your match" on facebook.

The site then produces a wall post for you that is AGAINST Landrieu.


Attempting to trick supporters of one candidate into electioneering on behalf of an opposing candidate on their facebook page (by interstate wire) is fundamentally no different than tricking me into donating money to a candidate I oppose (EDIT-SEE BELOW). Facebook posts in favor of or against a political candidate have economic value.

This is wire fraud.
