I said before the season McNeese and Tulane would be the toughest games. That still appears to be the case after we got smoked on Saturday to Tulane 35-20. For the road games, Lamar will be tough and perhaps Stephen F Austin and Northwestern State.

I think we can go 10-2, but what concerns me is if we don't get a top 2 seed, we will need to travel to Fargo or Washington during the winter to play. That would be a bad result either way.

True as far as playing conditions, but those guys seem like they haven't lost a step, even though they lost a good bit of experience and their head coach.

11-1. Played worse they could have played and had a chance in the 4th.
This was a wake up call needed for this team.

That big pass play killed us in the second half. If we could have had a stop there and converted a td in one of those fg drives, could have kept it close. The second fg attempt was laughable at best. We were sitting in that endzone and you can see the flags blowing in. They barely cleared the first fg and then you try another one. We should have come out with nothing to lose. Instead we came out playing flat and scared. Same for Southern Utah game. We need to get the offense back on track with the downfield passing game. If not, teams will stack the box and then force us to throw and that will be a problem.
