I for one am all for bringing in vuvuzelas into the stadium on saturday to drown out the miss st fans if only to give them a taste of their own medicine

"This proposal will enhance the fan experience and provide institutions with the flexibility to appeal to their fans by the use of musical and institutionally-controlled noise," SEC commissioner Mike Slive said via a written statement Friday.

“They were able to do things in the ACC that we were not in the SEC,” McGarity said. “The rules have changed now for 2014 where we’re able to utilize songs and music up until the point when the quarterback gets over the ball. That’s a big change in the in-game atmosphere.

What can the SEC really say if they allow MSU to do it, I guess the refs could penalize LSU if something not approved was brought in and utilized but why don't they ever penalize MSU.

I've said before that if MS State was a perennial contender than cowbells would be outlawed. It's their thing. If our thing was to bring air horns into the game it wouldn't have lasted through the 2000s.

Won't even bother them. Don't let the grind rustle your jimmies

CHICKEN is missing out on an absolutely *HUGE* opportunity here if he doesn't quickly whip up 50,000 TD branded vuvus and hand them out prior to saturday's game.
it would go viral and TD.com would firmly establish itself as a juggernaut.
shaggy bevo need not apply.

I actually have 3 vuvuzelas with me in BR. Unfortunately the security dudes in the student section would take them away and throw them away like they do umbrellas

The league imposed a $25,000 fine upon MSU for violation of the SEC's Artificial Noisemaker Policy during the 2013 football season and further violation by the Bulldogs program will result in a $50,000 fine for future seasons.
If the LSU program were fined that much - would anyone even notice?

The students of LSU need to get imaginative. I'm thinking a telescopic vuvuzela would easily get pass security.

I guess you didn't read the article that you posted a link to:

MSU fans will still not be allowed to bring and ring a cowbell into an opponent's stadium.

Oh well then there won't be any. Just like there won't be any alcohol in Tiger Stadium either.
