That's pretty cool when the bike is moving. And pretty lame when it's not.

dude its form follows function. if i bought these..*if*..i'd only have them on a beater set of wheels that i used at night.

no way i'd want that contraption interfering with my normal bike riding.

Just another thing for low-life bike thieves to steal.

I saw a guy riding on Nashville Avenue in NOLA this past Friday with those on. It was pretty awesome. They were more visible while he was crossing the road than when I was behind him. I guess because the light is so narrow. I would still use regular lights if I had those.

the real advantage is when a car is coming at you from the rear or towards you..thats when you get the super-bright LEDs in your face because of the 180ish degrees of light projecting forward (not to the sides as much) you are guaranteed to get someone's attention more than a single bright red LED..no matter how strong it is.

cool but pricey I have 3 xenon for the rear that are red and clear flashing at diff rates and 2 flame throwers up front and one on my helmet I look like a c5 galaxy going down the greenway I stay off the roads as much as possible, do some night mtn biking and greenway riding.

saw those on kickstarter a year or two ago. I like them, but you obviously have to have wheels spinning to look like that...not sure it they're worth the money.

no offense but isn't that the whole point?

when you roll to a stop they all blink around the entire wheel but only come on solid for about 120 degrees of the wheel when moving.
