0-2 sucks but moving on. We need to find a way to get back on track and reel off 3 straight heading into the bye. The Saints historically speaking (Payton Era) can be streaky and when this team gets hot, wins come in bunches.
We know we can run the ball as well as any team in the NFL. Any plans we have to win this year MUST start there.
Our passing game can feed off the running game NOT substitute it.
Defensively...we can not be as bad as we look. Something is not right and must be corrected immediately. Robinson is obviously not playing up to starter or even NFL roster standards but not many people on D aren't helping him out either.
Cam Jordan was suppose to break out this year into top 3-5 DE territory, Junior just got paid and promoted to be a star on this D, and we spent all off season talking about how strong Hicks was...where are they? Besides our Secondary, this D line was suppose to take off...they have not. WHY?
If we can establish remotely consistent pressure the Secondary will feed off of it and Ryan will scheme around it putting players in better position to maximize their strengths and opportunities for takeaways or even just stops.
This GW style all out blitz thing is killing me however if your front can not get pressure...it is a catch 22 situation

Making it to 3-2 is paramount to saving the season. After the bye our schedule is littered with good teams and we need to be riding a wave of momentum coming out the gate. Great teams can ride this schedule all the way to being battle tested and dangerous in the playoffs. Bad teams will ride this schedule straight to their draft room.

I still believe in this team. I know we have what we need. We just can not waste anymore time trying to put it together. The Dome needs to be rocking on Sunday...let's help the Saints jump start the season.

I definitely think we will right the ship and win some games...but this is the NFL I believe the old saying that at some point you are who your record says you are

Payton learns from his mistakes, Ingram gets 15-18 carries from here on out
Vaccaro can tackle again
Terron armstead was a steal
Rob Ryan looks like he lost 2-3 lbs
