Anybody know what this bug is?

This is some type of bug that builds a cocoon around itself and attaches itself to shite all over my front porch.

Almost looks like a bagworm like the ones I spent 2 hours picking out of one of my Arborvitaes a few days back (ok, not so much me as me telling my oldest son to go do it ). Nasty little buggers that can only be killed by fire or stomping.

Yes...bagwom moth caterpillars.
Possibly in pupal stage if stationary.

I think that's it. There any way to stop these demon spawns from attaching themselves to everything? You have to manually pull them off of what they are attached to. They are strong

They use to infect the Wax Myrtles trees at Lion's Way apartments.
