My favorites are:

1. LOTR (We all know they're not nearly as good as the novel, but they're still fine work)
2. Die Hard
3. Dirty Harry
4. Terminator
5. The Matrix

HM. The Fast and the Furious (minus Tokyo Drift)

What are y'alls?

No Star Wars? No Bond?

Mike Slive really didn't put much thought into this, did he?

Star Wars is good, but episodes 1 and 3 kept me from putting it on the list.

I like the Bond movies, but Pierce Brosnan's character kills the vibe for me. I think Sean Connery and Daniel Craig are great as Bond, but I haven't seen enough of the others to give it a vote.

Lucas did this to himself - he had what was widely regarded as one of the greatest trilogies of all time.

Now, if you put "Star Wars" as your favorite film series, you're putting, The Cartoon Menace, Send in the Clones, and Revenge of the Whiny-arse Punk Who Claims to Be Darth Vader, But Is, In Fact, Not, up there with the 3 great films (including one of the best films of all time, Empire.)
