I just think going via preseason he still isn't ready. PRob obviously has been disappointing, although he did make one nice PBU on the deep ball. Baptiste still doesn't know how to turn his head around and really didn't play physical at all during the preseason. Really the only bet is do like in 2nd half and have White as #2 and PRob as nickel. I hope PRob can gain some confidence and start playing better as the year goes on. Its not looking good.

Eta: I still like him as a 2nd round pick and feel like maybe next year he can contribute.

Realistically - it can't get any worse. As long as they play press man on whoever they put it, I am ok. Play em tight and bring heat, please.

We 0-2 and season has a long way to go. No fricking way is SJB ready to assume that role.

I was at the game, sitting at a vantage point that gave me a view roughly like what you see on the All 22 film .

PRob was beyond awful. Hoyer looked his way at least 80% of the time he dropped back to pass.

Did you watch the pre-season Baptiste looked fricking lost, he was abused.

Payton showed with Charles Brown if he doesn't think you are getting the job done and there is someone on the bench who can, he will sit you in a hear beat.

Baptiste is a project a lot of people were shocked we spent such a high draft pick on a guy who would take a few years to develop.

Problem is in the position coaching and the fact that White is just as bad as PRob.

I know people are frustrated with PRob, and he's been downright awful, but White is no better and seems just as bad.

A lot of it was hidden last year because we actually got a legitimate pass rush, but these two games it has been horrible.

Baptiste couldn't do anything right he was clueless, if you watched pre-season no one can objectively say that Babptiste gives us a better chance to win.

It is possible for someone to be worse than PROB and the rookie baptiste is at the moment.

Also 49ers just blew a lead and only have one more win than we do.
