I hate playing teams in their home opener. We will get right next Sunday in the friendly confines. I'm still predicting 12-4. We will be ok. Trust me. I'm awesome.

LOL. You must have been grabbing cold ones, every time our defense was on the field.

Really? Who would that road game be against? You did see our defense last two game right? And run the table at home with this "awersome" D - solid bet...

12-4.

So they are going to go 12-2 the rest of the season, including 4-2 on the road? Highly doubtful.

I hate to keep posting this, but it's relevant:

Since 1990 only 23 out of 198 teams that started 0-2 have made the playoffs. That's 11.6%.

This isn't a "sky is falling" post. It's statistical fact. The saints have a LONG way to go to be that 24th team in the above statistic.

All that aside, even 12-4 may not be good enough for home field, and if we don't get home field, it's a wrap.

Heard that in the pregame. 12% is what they said. That's not good.

Well, look at Carolina last year. Did anyone see that coming? Really tired of these threads. People need to take a deep breath and get over the loss. We'll bounce back.
