Look a-hole, everyone knows the fricking game. How bout you fricking do your research before starting threads. I have no idea if we blitzed on 4th and 6, but we fricking blitzed alot in the second half and again on the last big play before the game winning field goal. What makes you think if we did blitz on the fourth down that it would have worked. How bout this...think before making useless threads and making a assinine comment about posters learning the game. We all know the fricking game!!

You retards act like the blitz solves everything.
The blitz COST us the super bowl in 2011 when Gregggggg Robinson ran it way too much and Alex Smith LOL'd as he pranced all over the field in SF.
ETA: we blitzed plenty in the 2nd half. It worked a little but you have to use it within reason - if you blitz every play you'll start to get picked apart.

Ok lets rush 3 and 4 and let Hoyer eat a hot dog and coke and then throw a 4th down completion to extend the drive.

Greg Williams did in fact blitz a lot, which was pretty successful in 09, but yeah of course it got really old and stopped working after a while. However, if I remember reading it on PFF correctly, the blitz worked really well against Matt Ryan during the first game. He went like 2-6 for like 11 or something yards when getting blitz. Someone correct me on the actual stats here.

Because Ryan is sticking to his master plan. Keep the receivers in front of the DBs. They will make the play. He is convinced it will work. Just give it time. Giving up 2nd most yards in franchise history, and losing to the Browns (less Cameron and Gordon) really doesn't matter. Losing to two 4 win teams doesn't matter. Give it time, that's where the Raiders and Cowboys screwed up. Needed to give Ryan more time...
