I think all shows offer some form of compensation, even if it is the airfare, hotel, etc

frick Dr. Phil. He's a con artist. Didn't he get in trouble for telling a patient she could work off her bill with him in the bedroom? Why people listen to a damn thing he says, I'll never know

Every time I watched his show, he never says anything insightful or constructive. He just reiterates what the guest says.

There was a show called LA shrinks or something similar, and they would get into some deep stuff.

Weird. I saw his lineup for his first season and told Mrs. Pimp "he must pay these people a boatload". What an unethical shite show.

I watched an episode like 3 weeks ago for whatever reason. It was about a husband who treats his wife horribly and calls her names and stuff, and was just generally a total douche. He would ask a question, and then make a sarcastic remark about their answer, or ask if they thought he was stupid. There was no trying to help them, or giving advice. It was like the Dr. Phil comedy hour.

Lost confidence with Dr. P when he berated a husband for collecting Hot Wheels cars. The wife was bitching because the husband would buy a car for the kid and buy one for himself to save in the original packaging.

Phil laughed at the guy for buying toys.

I don't collect toys, but frick Phil for looking down on someone else's hobby.

Dr. Phil is a judgmental, elitist prick.
