Trifexis. It takes care of fleas and heartworms.

Tried this with my boxer, she didnt have any adverse reaction to it or anything.

Then I read about it, and stopped using it instantly.

Something about putting poison into the dog and all issues it causes just didnt seem worth it to me.

My dogs dont have flea issues so it makes my decision a little bit easier.

My German shepherd was on trifexis but had problems so took her off. I have heard conflicting reports about trifexis. We switched to....... frick can't remember ill have to ask my ole lady but it covers fleas to. My lab gets a heart worm shot every 6 months but it doesn't cover fleas. I just bath him with a little dawn in his shampoo and its suppose to prevent fleas. So far it works.

Comfortis.

I ordered 2 - 6 packs for my smalls dogs (5 - 10 lbs. and (10.1 to 20 lbs.) at Pet-i-Supply.com and only paid $116.89 with shipping for 6 month supply.

It's an overseas outfit, but the company is legit and medicine is the same for considerably less.
