Yea I didn't play it in 12 or 13 but I tried it last year and while its kinda intimidating at first its very entertaining once you get the gist of things.
When you start you're given some players and from there you can start playing games to earn coins to get better players. You can play online with other players or offline against the PC. Both options have tournaments and seasons.
You can also buy FIFA points to buy packs which have random players/consumables in them, but its not really worth it unless theres a deal for double sized packs or a really good team of the week.

I do really like playing with him though. I'm tempted to spend all my coins on packs trying to get his second inform this week but I know if I do I'll regret it

I blew all my coins on a jumbo pack and hit fn paydirt. The luiz, nif bale, and a schweiny. So of course i got greedy and bought some points for the second jumbo and got shite.
I have two solid squads worth tons of coins, but i swear i play so much better with a sweaty argentina league team. Game can be pretty whack sometimes.

Yea pace dominates.
I'm tempted to make my backup squad with just pacey overpowered players like Ibarbo and name it "All About That Pace", but I fricking hate going up against teams like that.

Yeah, and its not as satisfying a win. I get more fun out of my slow arse MLS team (but of course i get murdered most of time with them).
Giovinco may level it out soon though.

Heck, I'll even make it a full 11.
GK: Diego Alves (his reactions and diving used to progress to near-99s easily)
RB: Oscar De Marcos (the FIFA Swiss Army knife)
CB: Joel Matip, Aymeric Laporte (young, tall, great ball skills)
LB: Mubarak Wakaso (technically a pace-first winger, but he's got above-average defensive skills)
CM: Paul Pogba (duh), Junior Malanda (RIP, he was one of the best)
CAM: Roberto Firmino (complete attacking midfielder with great finishing)
LW: Antoine Griezmann (a complete player)
RW: Bernard (some of the best pace and dribbling, and he progresses super fast)
ST: Alexandre Lacazette (pace, dribbling, finishing, swag, etc.)

There's some kid @ St Etienne that's an 80 OVR at only 22 years old. I inquired and they want £38 million. I was going to try and sign him in the Jan window for the summer....but they can't if they're under 23. I really hope he doesn't sign a new deal before the summer.

Damn, these lower leagues are tough on World Class. I acquired Luke Garbutt and Conor McAleny on loan from Everton, but these League 1 squads are small as frick. Not much room for injuries and fatigue.

Could pack them last week, purchase on the transfer market using coins, or win them in an EA giveaway.
