I would support locking only the Thursday game on Thursday and leaving all others open until Sunday. The Thursday games mess people up.

Im sure i was chicken. But you know, the admins sticky so much stupid shite, I often overlook stickied posts.
I was in the habit last year of setting my pickems the day they became live, but its a new season and not quite in the habit yet.
With it being 2014, you'd think that the program wouldn't allow the Thurs game to hold back the other 93% of the games that will be played on Sunday.

ETA: furthermore, IMO, stickied posts should be held for announcements, such as the Pick Em information.
Not the Ray Rice stuff, which was stickied recently, for example. A thread in which is getting 1 page full of posts per ever 3-4 minutes doesn't need to be stickied, does it?
