Lacy has a tough matchup and coming back from injury. Obviously, Gordon will depend on NFLPA…..treat it as if he is eligible.

I'm thinking Gordon if he can go. I'm really conflicted on Lacy and Vereen. I don't know how much I trust the Lacy coming back from concussion with as good as Starks looked last week.

he's my RB1, but given the situation, he's on my bench right now. I have Gio and Ball.

fricking Lacy man. Come on. Don't bench your studs.

It does seem that simple. I'm liking Gordon vs the Saints though if that is possible.

I love Gordon as much as the next guy, but I wouldn't bench Lacy for him in his first week back with two days notice. And that's assuming Gordon even gets reinstated.

I pretty much agree. Thanks for the help.

In the 1% chance that it happens, Gordon is going to be playing after having nothing to do with the team for weeks. And when he was with the team in the preseason, he was still acting as a #4 type WR. It will take him a few weeks to get going. Playing him over Lacy is insane.

In most cases I agree. I am worried about what Gordon may look like if he is even able to play. Preseason is meaningless to evaluate starters IMO though. If he can go he'll be targeted 10 plus times and it will only take one 60 yard catch to make it worth it.

Lacy seemed to clear the concussion process pretty promptly though and is in full contact so I guess I shouldn't be worried. The packers should look a lot better this week.
