How is Aldon Smith still in the NFL?

I honestly have no idea how he is still on a roster.

Let's review:
The Aldon Smith File
Jan. 2012 — DUI
June 2012 — Gets into a fight and is stabbed
Oct. 2013 — charged with three felony counts of an assault weapon
Sept. 2013 — Another DUI, single car crash
April 2014 — Threatens to blow up and airport and says he has a bomb
In conclusion, gets into fights, gets stabbed, drinks, smokes, carries illegal weapons and threatens to blow shite up
And he only got suspended 9 games?
