Prisoners! My take

Yankeeundercover started a thread about fake American accents that immediately reminded me of Hugh Jackman in
the movie Prisoners. This movie never got much hype and though I found it to be a fair and descent thriller I find myself watching it everytime it's playing. I think what grabs me the most is the balance it has between plot twist, superior acting, and the directors ability to set the mood in such a way that you know exactly what your in for which is a whole lot of suspense.
And not once do I remember the sun shining the whole week or so in which the story took place which helped match what the actors seemed to be feeling. All in all to me at least it's very underrated and has made me a bigger fan of the actors as well as the director! It will probably be one of those popcorn flicks 10 years from now that comes on tv and you make it your guilty pleasure of the evening!

I like the area it was filmed in (Georgia?)
I have said this multiple times: I like the movie except for the end. It gets too out there. Too fantastical. Could have just been a smaller idea for why the kids were taken.
