going to my buddies hunting camp near Mantau. Staying there saturday night and parking at the dock lot northeast of the stadium. Don't feel like bringing a bunch of crap to tailgate with. What time do the restaurants/bars open on gamedays around the stadium?

and nah, i thought about driving from Nashville but think i'm going down to watch the Bengals game in Nov so that'll be my Saints trip for the year until playoffs

Muni lot opens at 7AM, and there will be a line to get in. Not really sure what time the downtown bars open. I always tailgate. I would guess no later than 7 though.

The muni lot is the cities municipal parking lots. Its where we tailgate.

Every year they crack down on morons chugging booze out of glass bottles in front of cops during preseason games. People bitch, and then once the regular season starts its back to normal. Keep it in a solo cup, like every other tailgate ever, and you will be fine.
I am a little worried about them outlawing charcoal. That would suck if they enforce that.

says they did on one article I read. I have a pass in the Dock 32 lot already. Do you have any idea when the Port Authority lots open? Hopefully its 7am

They tend to enforce things during preseason and then not in the regular season.
