The fact that the shield tried to cover this up is really crazy.

You know they saw the video.

They both deserve equal amount of criticism. Rice for being a pos and doing what he did in the first place and the NFL for giving him such a light punishment when it looks like they had access to the video that was leaked today.

No chance in hell the NFL did not see that video…i think they made a knee-jerk reaction by already releasing a statement that says the video was not seen…bullshite man…they SEEENT IT

NFL will have a big black eye for this shite….they already had a black eye for only giving him 2 games vs Gordon 16

You used a really important phrase. The Shield. The NFL has hidden behind that for DUIs, fights, other arrests etc for far too long. Unfortunately, this video surfaced and the "shock" was just too great for them to hide behind. The NFL thought it was too big to fail.

Both deserve it but the NFL just has so much power that they can keep spewing bullshite and everyone will move on sooner rather than later.

I think Goodell has a hard time getting over this one. His handling of this situation has been a total keystone cop scene.

The perpetrator. The NFL is guilty as shite, but Rice deserves the hammer.

Neither. The victim in this case still married the guy. If she still married him, the whole episode should be irrelevant.

He should be incredibly pissed at the league. If Goddell gave him 8 games initially he might have a job right now.

Yup. If they did see the video (which I'm convinced they absolutely did) I wouldn't be surprised to see an "anonymous source" leaking information that they indeed saw the video before the first suspension.

Ray Rice is a POS, but this has been public knowledge.

NFL deserves every bit of criticism for their 2 game suspension.

I couldn't believe it at the time and I still can't.
