30 yrs ago today the Bill Arnsparger Era and the early "SEC Game of the Week"

started in Gainesville and ended in a 21-21 tie. WTBS showed a handful of night games in 1983, including LSU at Tennessee but they started their 11:30 package which became JP,etc. The first game was this LSU-Florida game.

Florida had played a game a week earlier vs defending champion Miami in a game in Tampa where they lost 32-20,but the Hurricanes scored 13 points in the game's last 10 seconds.
