Sam Houston State didn't have a prayer, and Leonard Fournette didn't have any humility. He struck a Heisman pose after his first career TD. He might want to wait until the Tigers play an FBS opponent -- or he gets 100 yards.

I thought he had better character than this.

Hopefully it was just a WTF moment that he will look back on

Who gives a frick. ESPN has been trying to drain the fun and life out of College football for years.

He put all this on himself. I'm sure Les had more than a few words with him over the weekend.

character? lol

do you think patrick peterson lacks character?
because he did the same thing, yes at a more proven point in his career, but a heisman pose is a heisman pose

It's ridiculous the big deal people are making over this. He's an 18 year old kid who just scored his first collegiate touchdown. He got caught up in the moment. 20-25 years ago no one would have said anything about this.

I don't get why ESPN is trying to hype his pose like they did Michael Sam's sexuality. Please.

Fournette would have easily surpassed 100 yards on the ground if Miles didn't stop giving him carries.. which I suspect was just a teaching strategy. They put him in the game and then gave the ball to other running backs

All buga all the time

theres a player meeting tomorrow with the offense solely for this purpose. They will get it straight. He is a humble person. Just a young kid that got excited.

Again, the kid brought this upon himself. He has played into the hype and set ridiculous expectations for himself on record. He's dangerously teetering on the line between confident and cocky.

"nice pose Fournette... don't ever fricking do it again."

The media's obsession with this is puzzling and laughable.

It's all about the team, or that's how it should be at least.

Why is it puzzling?? You don't do a heisman pose against a FCS team
